potting plants, a 61% increase in
attendance from the fall semester’s selfcare

Maintained 43 sorority and fraternity
chapters during AY 2021-22, the same
number as the previous year despite the
a few chapter additions and departures.

Adjudicated 2,889 conduct cases during
AY 2021-22, an 11% decrease from the
previous year.3 SCCS reported a
33% increase in case processing time
as compared to the previous year.

  • Radhia Abdirahman (SMMS) received a Fulbright Award to earn a master’s degree in Australia in public policy.

  • Bander Almohammadi (LSS) received the Carl Coan Award for International Student Leadership.

  • Alyssa Francis (SILC) received the Student Affairs Baby Jay Award.

  • Kevin Joseph (Student Affairs) received the Dr. Neeli Bendapudi Award from the Office of Multicultural Affairs. family. Kenny was recognized for his contributions to the LSS tax program.

  • Jenny McKee (HERO) received the Student Affairs Jayhawk Award.

  • Cierra Roberson (OMA) received the Student Affairs Rock Chalk Award.

  • Jim Schilling (KU Memorial Unions) received the Student Affairs Crimson and Blue Award.

  • Keesa Shrader (Student Housing) received the 2022 University of Kansas Employee of the Year Award.
